Full-Time (37.5 hrs)
Position Type:
Onsite - W2
We are seeking a driven and passionate technician to join a team in Newcastle, ME area for the 26-27 school year. This position offers a valuable chance to contribute to a dynamic school environment by supporting student development and maintaining classroom continuity! The technician will provide behavioral support to students between the K-5th grades and helping them achieve academic and social goals through interventions and individualized care.
Responsibilities- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with various behavioral needs.
- Collect data on student progress and behavior, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure consistent support.
- Provide direct support to students in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Assist in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain professional communication with families, staff, and administration.
- Must be Certified Educational Technician II-III
- Prior experience working with children in a school setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to start as soon as possible
