RTI Math Interventionist
Freeport Middle School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered educator to fill a 0.5 RTI Math Interventionist position for the upcoming school year. The successful candidate will work with students in grades 6-8, providing targeted math interventions designed to support academic growth and achievement. This position plays a critical role in helping students develop confidence and proficiency in mathematics through evidence-based instructional practices and responsive intervention strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct math intervention services to students in grades 6-8.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring student performance data throughout the school year to assess progress and inform instructional decisions.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, special educators, interventionists, and administrators to identify student needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Supporting the implementation of RTI processes and contributing to a data-driven culture focused on student success.
- Participating in team meetings and problem-solving discussions related to student achievement.
- Providing classroom-based support and consultation as needed to strengthen instructional practices and student outcomes.
