Behavior Program Educational Technician
MSAD 60 is looking for an Educational Technician to work with our students in grades 7
-12 in a self-contained behavior classroom per Individualized Education Plans. The supervising teacher will create academic, behavioral, and social emotional plans for the Educational Technician to carry out throughout the day. Educational Technicians are expected to follow the designed plans as prescribed by the teacher.

Academic, behavioral, and social emotional skills that will be supported include, but are not limited to, supporting students in:

• Functional communication
• Collaborating with peers and staff
• Skills to support emotional regulation
• Grade 7 and above language arts skills
• Grade 7 and above math skills
• Grade 7 and above social studies skills
• Grade 7 and above science skills
• Expected Classroom Behaviors
• Expected Socially Acceptable Behavior
• Self-control
• Participation in Extended Learning Opportunities
• Making Connections

Candidates should be comfortable collecting data about student performance throughout the day. They will be supporting students individually, in small groups, in the special education classroom, and within the surrounding communities.

MSAD
60 has a competitive salary including a stipend of up to $2,000.00, above and beyond the salary rate (paid out in two installments), and a strong benefits package.

Candidates are required to have Educational Technician II certification (or the ability to obtain the certification).
