The Field Hockey position is open for an individual who is ready and willing to teach the fundamentals of the game to middle school aged students. The position includes the responsibility of organizing, directing, and supervising the team of student‑athletes, while helping to develop a competitive program and strong team environment that will also help develop players. The coach will also be responsible for teaching the importance of respect for the school, opponents, officials, and the community.

• Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) for a Department of Education experience working with students with social and emotional challenges preferred.

• Knowledge of the sport through participation, clinics and/or prior coaching experience.
• Coaching certification through the Maine Principals Association
• First Aid and CPR.
