Ed Tech II: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and/or
EXPERIENCE:
Two [2] years of post‑secondary education or a combination equivalent to 60 hours of approved study in an educationally related field; or for vocational education, two [2] years of paid applied employment within the field of assignment. Educational Technician II Authorization (022), NCLB Requirement (028) and CHRC Approval Certificate.
Ed Tech III: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and/or
EXPERIENCE:
Must have 90 hours of approved college credits. Educational Technician III Authorization (023), NCLB Requirement (028) and CHRC Approval Certificate.
Contracted Days: 5 days per week / 7 hours per day. 175 school days.
Location:
Boothbay Region High School.
Date Position Available: 2026/2027 School Year.

The hourly rate for this role ranges from $20.92 to $27.80 depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Appropriate State of Maine Ed Tech Certification through the State of Maine Department of Education.
The AOS
98 Rocky Channels School system that serves Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Georgetown, Edgecomb and Southport is seeking a dynamic, passionate individual to work as a special education educational technician. The successful candidate will have the ability to work positively and collaboratively with administration, staff, students, and parents; possess strong oral and written communication skills; and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills; and is dedicated to meeting the academic and social needs of our students.
Experience working with students with a variety of special needs is essential.

- Help create student work materials according to their plans
- Accurately record data on child’s progress
