Mountain Valley Community School – Educational Technician III
We are seeking a dedicated and student‑centered Educational Technician III to support Title I mathematics instruction in the elementary grades. This position plays a key role in helping students strengthen foundational math skills, build confidence, and access grade‑level instruction through targeted intervention and small‑group support.
The Title I Mathematics Ed Tech III works closely with classroom teachers, intervention staff, and school leadership to provide high‑quality academic support aligned with identified student needs and school wide improvement goals.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide direct instructional support to students in mathematics through small‑group and individual intervention, both inside and outside the general education classroom.
- Support implementation of Title I math intervention programs and materials as directed by certified staff.
- Assist teachers in reinforcing grade‑level math concepts, including number sense, operations, fractions, problem solving, and mathematical reasoning.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and intervention effectiveness.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and intervention teams to adjust supports based on students’ response to instruction.
- Support administration of math assessments and progress monitoring tools as needed.
- Reinforce positive student engagement, perseverance, and productive mathematical habits.
- Contribute to a supportive, structured, and encouraging learning environment for all students.
- Experience working with students in educational or intervention settings, preferably in mathematics.
- Strong understanding of foundational math concepts and willingness to learn school‑adopted curricula and intervention systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and intervention teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Commitment to equity, student growth, and supporting diverse learners.
- Experience with Title I programming or academic intervention.
- Familiarity with data‑driven instruction and progress monitoring.
- Experience supporting small‑group math instruction in the elementary grades.
