IEP Coordinator

Overview

Regional School Unit #3 has a vacancy for your consideration. IEP Coordinator position for the  school year. RSU #3 is seeking a highly qualified IEP Coordinator who is self-motivated, organized, flexible, and team-oriented. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on positive interactions with the RSU #3 school team and community members are required.

Reports to:

Coordinator of Special Services

• Bachelor s Degree in Special Education.
• Current Maine DOE 282 K-12 Teaching Certification.
• Minimum of three years Special Education teaching experience.

• Create and review IEP meeting documents to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Monitor IEP document timelines to ensure compliance with Maine DOE guidelines.
• Support and assist case managers, Special Education teachers, and service providers with paperwork or related questions.
• Attend and assist in all IEP meetings as requested.
• Attends all required district/DOE meetings and professional development.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Special Education Coordinator.

Applicants must have or be able to obtain a CHRC (criminal history record check) with the Maine Department of Education.
