Mast Landing School is seeking a full-time special education teacher to provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in grades 3-5. Responsibilities include delivering targeted academic instruction, supporting students' social-emotional development, and ensuring access to the general education curriculum. The teacher will collaborate closely with general education staff, develop and implement IEPs, and manage a student caseload by monitoring progress, conducting observations, and maintaining ongoing communication with families.
This role requires a strong dedication to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment, advocating for student needs, and applying evidence-based practices to promote academic achievement and positive social outcomes.
- Must hold valid 282 Certification from the ME Dept. of Education.
