Overview
Regional School Unit #3 has a vacancy for a Middle School Health Education Teacher. Mount View Middle School is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and student-focused educator to join the team as the Grades 6–8 Health Teacher at Mount View Middle School. The successful candidate will provide instruction in middle level health education aligned with Maine's Health Education Standards. Responsibilities include teaching the required health curriculum for grades 6–8 as well as developing and delivering engaging health elective offerings that promote student wellness, healthy decision‑making, and lifelong healthy habits.

- Develop and deliver engaging health elective offerings that promote student wellness, healthy decision‑making, and lifelong healthy habits.
- Utilize engaging, student‑centered instructional practices.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and support staff.
- Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Maine Department of Education Health Education certification (or eligibility for certification).
- Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a school team.
- Current CHRC (criminal history record check) or ability to obtain.
