Location: Fryeburg

Ignite your passion for supporting student success as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment! This full-time contract opportunity offers 33.75 hours per week, focusing on making a difference in the lives of students from Pre-K through 12th grade (with flexibility if you are not experienced with Pre-K). The role will primarily center on conducting evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and coordinating intervention plans.

If you have a background in counseling, that expertise will be highly valued as well.

As you contribute your expertise, you may collaborate with teams across up to four different schools. This position allows you to focus on your strengths in assessment and intervention, while also having the potential to expand your skillset through counseling services should you desire.

Desired Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Current license or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting psycho educational evaluations for students K-12.
  • Strong understanding of the IEP process and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Capacity to coordinate intervention strategies that support student learning and well-being.
  • Proven communication and organizational skills, especially in managing documentation and deadlines.
  • Experience providing counseling services to students is a plus, but not required.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple school locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of effective educational plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to implement intervention strategies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in line with school and state guidelines.
  • (If applicable) Provide individual or group counseling to support student outcomes.
