E. Rowe Elementary School, grades K-3, Norway, ME. The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for the position.

This teacher will join a fabulous team to work with students in a self‑contained life skills setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide instruction focused on functional academics, activities of daily living (ADL), communication skills, and participation in inclusive classes.
• Support students with disabilities such as Intellectual Disability (), Autism, and Other Health Impairment (OHI).
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans addressing each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless inclusion and student success.

Candidate must hold a valid Maine certification 282 or be able to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s).

180 day contract. Salary range: $45,000.00 - $79,539.70* (SY25/26). As a full‑time employee, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (80% premium paid by employer, up to 100% if both spouses work in the district), dental, vision, group life insurance, flexible spending and dependent care accounts, Maine Public Employee Pension, 403(b) retirement plan eligibility, 15 paid sick days per year, and tuition reimbursement.

• Functional Life Skills Teachers – $4,400
• Social Skills Teachers – $3,400
• Resource Room Teachers – $2,000
• Social Workers – $4,450
• Applied Academics Teachers – $4,000
