Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices and the ability to design and implement specially designed instruction that addresses students' unique learning needs and promotes meaningful progress toward IEP goals. The ability to collect, analyze, and use data to inform instructional decisions and differentiate support for students.

A commitment to equitable and nondiscriminatory educational practices. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, schedules, and student needs. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a special education caseload while balancing instructional responsibilities, communication with families, and compliance requirements.

Deliver rigorous, high-quality instruction and assessment across academic content areas. Establish clear expectations, consistent routines, and a supportive learning environment that promotes student success. Foster students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral growth. Embrace shared responsibility for the success of the school community, including participation in duties, meetings, and school events.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues, specialists, administrators, and families to support student outcomes. Maintain compliance with all special education requirements and paperwork while ensuring that students and families receive high-quality, responsive support.
