Mast Landing School, a grades 3-5 elementary school in Freeport, seeks a passionate 3rd grade teacher to join our collaborative learning community as a long-term substitute teacher from August 25th to December 1, 2026. We are committed to creating joyful, inclusive classrooms where all students are known, valued, challenged, and supported to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
The ideal candidate believes deeply in the potential of every child and brings energy and a strong understanding of elementary instruction to their work. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to building strong relationships with students and families, fostering a positive classroom culture, and collaborating closely with colleagues to support student learning.
Requirements- Must hold valid CHRC Certification from the Maine Department of Education.
- Position remains open until a suitable candidate is found.
