Telstar Middle School is seeking a Grade Six Math Teacher to begin the 2026‑2027 school year. The teacher will teach mathematics to sixth‑grade students and support the district’s mission of academic excellence, inclusive learning, and critical thinking.

• Design differentiated learning experiences that meet the needs of all students.
• Connect classroom learning to real‑world and community‑based experiences.
• Support students in developing academic skills and personal well‑being.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and the broader community.
• Teach grade‑six mathematics curriculum in alignment with state standards.

• Appropriate Maine teaching certificate required.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the middle‑school level preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
