Medomak Valley High School is seeking a dynamic, and talented instructor of Art for all levels 9-12 with experience in various media and the ability to expand and/or deepen current offerings of beginning through advanced clay. Joining a professional learning community of four visual and performing arts colleagues at our school and a robust and active RSU 40 community of art teachers, the successful candidate will be proficient in assessing and meeting student needs and practicing a "whatever it takes" mindset to promote student success.

Knowledge and use of social / emotional learning tenets are encouraged. In addition, the successful candidate will be ready to positively impact the life of the school and community with active participation in a variety of activities which may include athletics, clubs, or committees.

Certification/License:
Maine State Certification as an Art Teacher.

Education:

Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.

Experience:

Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level and/or subject is a plus.
