Lower and Middle School Extended

Berwick Academy is looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our dynamic Extended Day Program team for the  school year. Whether supporting our Lower or Middle School programs, you’ll help create a nurturing, flexible structure that encourages imaginative play, enriching activities, and well-earned downtime to recharge after a busy school day.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and interacting with Pre-K to Fourth Grade students (Lower School) or Fifth through Eighth Grade students (Middle School) during after-school hours (3:00 PM - 5:15 PM).

  This role also includes a 2:30 start time to allow for planning and prep.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities like arts and crafts, outdoor play, and themed projects that explore seasons, cultures, and more.
• Providing homework help and assisting students as they transition to activities such as music lessons, tutoring, or dance classes.
• Partnering with families by maintaining approachable and supportive communication.
• Overseeing and mentoring Upper School student assistants, fostering their leadership skills.
