Location
Lake Region/Fryeburg Adult Education
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Adult Education, or closely related field – required
- Minimum of three years working with and advising adults and adolescents in transition services – required
- Maine Teaching Certification (minimum Adult Education endorsement) – preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience teaching and advising adults and youth
- Experience with program management and development
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possesses group and community-building skills
- Student intake and career pathways plan development
- Career & College advising based on student need
- Academic assessment, HS Diploma and College Transition students
- Program planning, design, assessment and evaluation that meet CCRS standards
- Requisition of funds for program supplies and textbooks
- Initial and on-going assessment of students
- Student academic advising and placement as appropriate
- Teaching courses, workshops, and seminars aligned with targeted grant objectives and outcomes
- Data collection and accurate record keeping
- Plan and participate in Professional Development activities as outlined by the Director
