Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Technician to join our team and provide support to students with academic and/or medical needs. In this role, you will assist in the classroom setting by supporting students with their academic and functional progress as impacted by skills deficits and health-related needs. Responsibilities may include supporting academic progress, reteaching, managing medical needs, providing assistance with daily tasks, and working closely with teachers to ensure students' success.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students with accessing and making progress in the general education curriculum
- Assist students with executive functioning skills such as task initiation, task completion, movement breaks, and emotional regulation.
- Assist students with medical needs and support their health-related requirements throughout the school day.
- Help students stay engaged in classroom activities and provide academic support as needed.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to implement individualized learning and care plans.
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $18 to $28 Per Hour

- Qualifications:
- MDOE Educational Technician Certification - required
- MDOE Fingerprinting and Background check - required
- CNA certification - preferred
- Experience in healthcare or education, preferably with children - preferred
- Ability to provide health care and instructional support in an educational environment - preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills - preferred
- At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
