Performing Arts Educator (Music / Theater / Dance) Edgecomb Eddy School | Edgecomb, ME Part-Time (2 Days/Week) | PreK-6th Grade About The Role

Are you ready to capture our students' natural creativity, energy, and theatrical flair? Edgecomb Eddy School is seeking a vibrant, imaginative Performing Arts Educator to lead our PreK-6th grade students two days a week. Whether your background is rooted in Music, Theater, Dance, or a blend of all three, we are looking for a dynamic leader who can spark enthusiasm, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of rhythm, melody, and creative expression.

Located in one of the most beautiful regions of the state, our close-knit school serves approximately 100 students. We believe that every child—regardless of their starting skill level or specific needs—has a voice worth hearing and a performance worth sharing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inclusive & Creative Instruction:
    Design and deliver engaging performing arts lessons adapted to meet a wide range of learning styles, developmental stages, and interests across PreK-6.
  • Showcase Leadership & Performance Excellence:
    Serve as the creative force behind our cherished Winter and Spring performances. You will take full ownership of planning, directing, and executing these showcase events, preparing our students to take the stage with confidence and pride.
  • Resourceful Curriculum Design:
    Utilize and maximize our existing inventory of instruments and stage resources, using imagination and resourcefulness to build a rich, creative learning environment.

    Collaboration:

    Seamlessly integrate into our supportive school ecosystem, collaborating with staff and engaging with families to celebrate student growth.
