School-Based Physical Therapist - Damariscotta, Maine

Make a direct impact on students well-being by providing essential physical therapy services in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated PT who enjoys working with K-8 students and is seeking a flexible, part-time role. With just 4 hours per week required, you will serve students as they develop and succeed both during Summer school and the academic year.

• Deliver individualized and group PT interventions to students ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade
• Assess and document students functional abilities, collaborating with educators and families to promote accessibility and achievement
• Design and revise treatment plans based on each students unique needs
• Educate school staff on best practices for student mobility and adaptive equipment use
• Stay up-to-date with current therapy techniques and educational requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license in the state
• Pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt your approach to diverse student needs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive therapy environment

• Work a consistent 4 hours per week (schedule determined with school administration)
• Serve in a meaningful role across both Summer (July 730, 2026) and the following school year (August 24, 2026
