SUMMARY: RSU 2 is looking for a candidate that is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive and caring environment. Works closely with teachers to create fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities while building positive relationships with children and families. Dedicated to encouraging curiosity, confidence, creativity, and social-emotional growth through hands-on learning and everyday interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities
- Support individual and small-group learning experiences
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Help manage classroom routines and transitions
- Observe and document student progress
- Communicate effectively with staff and families
- Certification as an Educational Technician III
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners
START DATE: SY 26-27
SALARY: Based on experience and in accordance with the wage scale in the Educational Technician/Secretary Bargaining Agreement: $22.24 [Step 1] - $30.52 [Step 17]. Educational Technician & Secretary Collective Bargaining Agreement 25-27
