Job DescriptionLake Region Middle School seeks an organized, flexible, and reliable individual able to work effectively in any and all school settings as a permanent substitute.
In addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ideal candidate possesses knowledge of and experience with:
- Middle school level academic work in all subject areas
- Effective classroom management strategies, including establishing and maintaining routines and procedures
- Building and maintaining supportive relationships with students
The permanent substitute is a school year position, not to exceed 129 hours per month.
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $110 to $120 Per Day

Permanent Substitute
- CHRC/Fingerprint approval - REQUIRED Mandated by the State of Maine: visit: https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting/ to complete process. This is a two-part process with a total cost of $70. Both parts must be completed or you will not receive an approval.
- At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
