Position Goal:
To offer support to students under the direction of the Learning Center Teacher. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to implement individualized special education programs for middle level students.
Qualifications:State of Maine Ed Tech III Authorization, NCLB Endorsement. Experience working with special education students is preferred. Safety Care Certification is a plus.
Looking for a team player with a desire to collaborate with other professionals to provide quality programming for students. Willing to train qualified candidates. If you hold 90 college credits you are a qualified candidate.
Benefits and Salary:Excellent benefits package includes 100% employer paid MEA Choice Plan BC/BX single and 77.5% dependent coverage, group insurance coverage, 100% single dental insurance, paid holidays, sick, personal and vacation time. Pay based on experience ranging from $20.07-$24.57/hour.
Certification:Ed Tech III (3) authorization through the Maine Department of Education.
