Are you passionate about helping children succeed in school and life? The Hermon School Department is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Technician to join our K–4 special education team.
You’ll work closely with Special Education Teachers, related service providers, and BCBA to provide essential academic and behavioral support—helping every student reach their full potential. What You’ll Do as an Ed Tech- Support students in reaching behavioral, academic, and social goals
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist with communication, social skills, and safety instruction
- Implement students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
- Keep accurate daily documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Maine DOE CHRC (Criminal History Record Check)
- Valid Ed Tech I Authorization from the Maine Department of Education
