Hichborn Middle School is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team supporting math instruction for grades 6–8. At Hichborn Middle School, we are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every student can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The ideal candidate is passionate about individualized instruction, builds strong relationships with students, and thrives on collaboration with colleagues and families.

The

Successful Candidate Should
  • Plan, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Prepare and deliver specially designed math instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records including written notices, IEPs, and assessments
  • Collaborate and consult with general education staff on IEP implementation and special education services
  • Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning needs, providing targeted supports where needed
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and the school team

Pay for this position is based on the CEA Collective Bargaining Agreement and ranges from $45,870 to $76,572.30, depending on experience.
