Special Education Tech III - Resource Room

Ed Tech III

Plan and deliver instruction under the guidance of a Special Education Teacher. You may be providing direction individually or in a small group, or supporting students in a classroom. Applicants should be willing to learn or have the following skills:
Experience working with students who have special needs preferred Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff Ability to follow Individual Education Plans and implement behavior plans necessary Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques in the area of literacy and mathematics preferred Ability to use strategies (Safety Care) to maintain safe student behaviors Ability to work as part of a team required Current State of Maine Department of Education Certification and CHRC Authorization.
