School Psychologist - Waterboro, Maine

This engaging contract opportunity is designed for those passionate about helping young learners reach their full potential. You will work two days per week, with one day dedicated to K-5 evaluations at the elementary level and the other focused on conducting Pre-K evaluations for four-year-olds district wide.

This long-term assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 16, 2027. Compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $45 per hour, tailored according to experience and educational background.

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience with K-5 and Pre-K populations preferred
• Solid understanding of student assessments, evaluations, and eligibility processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district and federal guidelines
• Flexibility to travel between school sites as required

• Perform comprehensive psycho educational assessments for K-5 students at the elementary school
• Carry out evaluations of 4-year-old Pre-K students across the district
• Interpret evaluation results and collaborate with educators and families on intervention strategies
• Offer consultative services to classroom teachers and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Maintain complete and accurate records in line with district protocols
