Assistant Director Region Two School of Applied Technology – Houlton, Maine
Region Two School of Applied Technology is seeking an experienced and collaborative Assistant Director to join our administrative team.
The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director to provide leadership in instruction, student services, staff supervision, school operations, program development, workforce development, and community partnerships. The position will also assist with budgeting, curriculum development, school safety, professional development, and Maine CTE compliance.
We Are Looking For a Leader Who- Has strong leadership and communication skills
- Has experience in education, educational leadership, or industry management
- Understands Career & Technical Education and workforce development
- Can build positive relationships with students, staff, schools, businesses, and community partners
- Is committed to student success and high-quality CTE programming
- Has strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, CTE, or a related field
- Five or more years of successful teaching, educational leadership, or industry management experience
- CTE experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Maine DOE regulations, Perkins V, and CTE standards
Maine DOE Administrator Certification (040, 045, or other appropriate certification), or eligibility for certification.
What You'll DoThe Assistant Director will help lead Region Two's instructional programs, supervise and support staff, promote student success, strengthen business and industry partnerships, support program development, and assist with the daily operation of the school.
