Nobleboro School - Guidance Counselor

Nobleboro Central School is seeking a compassionate, student-focused guidance counselor to join our supportive and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while working closely with teachers, families, and the broader school community.

• Assist with academic planning, course selection, and career readiness
• Provide individual and group counseling to support student social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to address student needs
• Support positive behavior interventions and school-wide social-emotional programs
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

• Valid Maine School Counselor Certification or LCSW
• Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Understanding of social-emotional learning, adolescent development, and counseling best practices
• Teach SEL classes
