In this student-centered role, you will build employer partnerships, coordinate internships and work-based learning placements, and guide young adults as they develop job skills and career readiness. You will collaborate with instructors and counselors, monitor student progress, and ensure quality, safe worksites that align with training programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage work-based learning and internship placements for Job Corps students
• Build and maintain partnerships with local employers and community organizations
• Match students to appropriate internship and work-based learning opportunities based on career paths
• Prepare students for placements through orientations, expectations, and workplace readiness support
• Monitor student performance and employer feedback, addressing issues promptly
• Collaborate with instructors, counselors, and career services to align training with work-based experiences
• Track outcomes, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare reports on placement activities
• Support students' professional development, goal setting, and transition to employment or further education
