The permanent substitute is a school year position, 175 student days, 6.5 hours per day- In addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ideal candidate possesses knowledge of and experience with:
- Effective classroom management strategies, including establishing and maintaining routines and procedures
- Building and maintaining supportive relationships with students
- Maintain confidentiality
- Be a team player and have communication skills with students, staff, and parents
