The Coordinator of Recruitment and Community Engagement leads the University of Maine Honors College's efforts to recruit and enroll an academically talented and engaged student body and plays a critical role in our student success efforts by creating a seamless continuum from prospective student engagement through active participation in the Honors community.
Typical hiring range for this position is $45,500 to $48,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • One year of related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to a variety of audiences
  • Interest in fostering student growth and development
  • Proficiency with technology platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.

Preferred:

  • At least two years’ related experience
  • Experience with college admissions and/or recruitment
  • Experience designing, leading and managing events
  • Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data and data sets
  • Experience designing materials for online and print media
