RSU 73 is looking for a caring, compassionate, and patient educational technician III to join the special education functional resource programs full-time working with students with disabilities in grades K-2. Students in our programs have a wide variety of academic and functional needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will work with individuals or small groups providing curriculum support, some planning of academic and functional instruction with supervising teacher support, instruction including introduction of new learning as well as maintain records of student progress with behavior, functional skills, and academics.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organized and skilled at clear communication.

- Must be eligible for and apply for or have authorization as an Educational Technician III through the Maine Department of Education (MDOE). Please visit https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert for more information.
- Experience working with children or adults with disabilities is preferred, but not necessary.

- All DOE Certifications

Pay rate for Ed Tech III’s is dependent on experience:
Beginning rate $24.57 / hr - $27.24 / hr
