Auxiliary Operator ReGenerate Livermore Falls

Position Reports to Shift Supervisor

• Operate boiler, turbine, and associated power plant auxiliary systems in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily equipment rounds, chemistry testing, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain plant housekeeping and other duties as may be needed to support facility demands.
• As required, fill-in as Auxiliary Operator and Fuel Yard Operator.
• Responsible for operating the power plant in a safe, environmentally sound and efficient manner.

• Good judgment, innovative, resourceful, sense of initiative, able to make decisions.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule with overtime and occasional call-ins.
• Ability to provide clear oral and written communication as well as, effectively communicate with and take direction from other plant personnel/supervisors.
• Ability to work in closed quarters and confined spaces; climb ladders and structures; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; and tolerate heights and high temperatures.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Applicant must have an active State of Maine High Pressure Steam Engineer License or ability to obtain the High-Pressure License within one year of hire date as a condition of employment.

The candidate will be assigned to the ReGenerate Livermore Falls Facility in Livermore Falls, ME.
