Boiler Operator
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Boiler Operator to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of biomass and oil-fired boilers, turbine generator equipment, and dry kilns. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and controlling the operation of biomass and oil fired boilers and a turbine generator in a safe and efficient manner
- Performing operational troubleshooting and routine minor repairs on all boiler related equipment as needed
- Daily operation and maintenance of dry kilns
Qualifications
- Education Required:
Trade Certification or Associate's degree - Minimum requirement:
Maine HP Boiler License - Years of Experience
Required:
1-5 years of experience - Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to work shifts as the operation runs 24/7
