Testing Engineer For Medical Devices

As a Testing Engineer in medical technology, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the safety and performance of a wide range of medical devices, such as ventilators, medical robots, and X-ray equipment.
In this role, you will:
- Perform extensive safety tests on medical devices in strict accordance with international standards such as IEC 60601-1 or IEC 61010-1.
- Carefully compile and analyze test results, translating this critical data into clear, accurate, and professional test reports.
- Act as a technical contact person, fostering strong communication with both internal teams and external clients to ensure clarity and successful project outcomes.
- Carefully validate projects and assess the suitability of testing to optimize the efficiency and accuracy of testing.
- Conduct thorough reviews of test reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with all relevant standards.
We seek an engaged and technically proficient individual who has:
- Educational background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering. BSEE or biomedical engineering education is highly desirable. - Previous experience working with testing.
- Meritably experienced with medical standards, especially IEC 60601-1.
- Knowledge of global standards:
Meritably experienced with U.S., Canadian, and other international product safety standards (e.g., ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, IEC). - Technical interpretation:
Habitual in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical documentation, and troubleshooting. - Scientific communication:
Excellent ability to understand and write technical text fluently in English and Swedish.
