Position:
Senior Product Definition / Drafter (Onsite). U.S. citizenship or U.S. person required.
Location:
WELLS, Rte 9, North Berwick, ME.
- Author complex parametric 3D models and associated product definition files using Siemens NX, ensuring strict alignment with design intent and established Product Definition standard work.
- Produce precision part prints and digital models within Siemens NX, expertly applying specialized dimensioning techniques per part-family guidelines while actively balancing design intent with manufacturing constraints.
- Deeply understand, apply, and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in strict accordance with ASME Y14.5M-1994 standards.
- Create and manage comprehensive part print and engineering change (EC) release documentation utilizing Teamcenter / NXManager.
- Champion Model-Based Design (MBD) principles, utilizing approved enterprise tools to ensure all digital datasets are optimized for seamless downstream consumption by manufacturing and quality teams.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years prior relevant experience, or an Associate's degree in a related field and 7 years of prior relevant experience.
- Prior relevant experience in drafting.
- Proven experience within the aerospace industry.
- High proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) applying ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Hands-on modeling and product definition experience utilizing Siemens NX graphics software and Teamcenter.
- Exceptionally strong communication skills with a proven track record of effective cross-functional teamwork.
Salary range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD.
