In the role of testing engineer, you will work with both practical tests and theoretical investigation to ensure that our customers' products meet safety requirements for electrical and fire safety, as well as mechanical risks according to various product standards. In other words, thanks to you, the world will become a safer place for both people and the environment! You will belong to the Component & Installation unit where we test components, cables, and installation materials.

You work independently in a project-based form, but you are part of a team of both junior and senior engineers where you collaborate to make a real difference. In some projects, you also collaborate with competent project managers who coordinate the more time-consuming testing processes.

In your daily work, you will among other things:

• Perform practical tests and safety tests in laboratory environments against regulatory requirements
• Continuously analyze and document your results of the tests
• Ensure that the products meet national and international safety requirements
• Perform theoretical and practical simulation of fault conditions
• Design test reports and certifications

• Engineer in electrical engineering, power engineering, or similar with experience in similar areas
• Have a good understanding of electrical theory/electrical technology and have basic skills in electrical schematic reading
• Are both practical and theoretical – that is, interested in both practical tests and documenting the results
• Are customer-focused, responsible, and keen to deliver good results
• Good skills in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is strongly meritorious. Finnish, Japanese, and/or Mandarin are meritorious.

You find it important to have good contact with both customers and colleagues and can easily communicate with both Swedish and international contacts. Making the world safer feels meaningful and with your technical skills, delivering tests that help our customers offer safe products on the world's markets.

You will work with broad and varied tasks in close collaboration with our customers and the assignments have a wide spread with both Swedish and international companies.
