Now we want to grow and are looking for our next Sub Disciplin Lead within contact management for our national railway operations!

About the role

As Sub Disciplin Lead you have an overarching responsibility for the development and direction of the discipline. The role involves ensuring the right competence, effective working methods, and future-proof deliveries in our projects. You drive the development of standard solutions, internal processes, delivery models, and guidelines within the discipline and ensure that these are kept updated and well-anchored in the organization.

In the role, you develop and improve working methods, drive standardization and automation, and are a driving force in the development of new tools and methods. You actively work with external monitoring and collaboration internally, externally, and globally, and have the mandate to drive innovation and long-term development within your discipline. You advocate for the discipline to follow best practices.

You contribute to quality assurance by reviewing projects as needed from the tender phase to delivery. The work also includes support to colleagues and project teams within the discipline, both nationally and internationally, including acting as a mentor in more complex issues.

The role involves collaborating with other Sub Disciplin Leads and Disciplin Lead Railway as well as our international colleagues. You will also support line operations in recruitment and competency development issues.

In addition to working as Sub Disciplin Lead, you will work within the projects based on your prerequisites and competence in contact management.

Location for the position is at one of our offices in Sweden.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary engineering degree in civil engineering and substantial experience in the railway industry with technical contact management work. You possess high knowledge of the contact management systems used in Sweden. It is advantageous to have knowledge of contact management systems for both railway, metro, and tram.

We place great importance on personal qualities, and we would like to see that you are driven, communicative, and confident in your professional role, and business-minded in all situations. You have a burning interest in technology development and mentorship and dare to think new. You should be experienced enough to work both in depth within contact management and in a holistic perspective for the entire railway system.

Since our deliveries are mainly in Swedish, it is important that you have good language skills, and as we operate in a global organization, it is crucial that you feel comfortable communicating in English.
