Concrete Constructor Position
Do you want to work on advanced concrete constructions in projects that are crucial for society's function and energy supply? We are now looking for an experienced concrete constructor to join our Water Engineering department.
Suggested locations are Stockholm, Uppsala, or Umeå where the Water Engineering department is currently represented, but since WSP has offices throughout Sweden, other locations may also be suitable.

The Water Engineering department primarily works on dams, dam safety, and hydropower plants where the requirements for technical quality, safety, and long-term sustainability are high.

Your role As an experienced concrete constructor, you will work on diverse projects within water power and facilities, often in the role of technical responsible or project manager.
You will have the opportunity to follow projects from early investigations and design to construction documents and often also through the construction phase.
Your tasks may include:
- Technical responsibility for parts of projects
- Project management for small and large projects
- Design and dimensioning of concrete constructions
- Guidance and support to less experienced constructors
- Review and quality assurance of drawings, models, and deliveries
- Development of action proposals and technical solutions
- Inspections and permit assessments
- Customer contact and participation in marketing and tender work
The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues within WSP, both in Sweden and internationally. Travel and site visits to facilities are a natural part of the role.
Your profile We are looking for you as an experienced constructor who thrives on technically complex questions and wants to contribute to developing the future of water engineering facilities.
You have:
- At least 5 years of experience in concrete construction, dimensioning, and structural calculations
- Experience in project design within facilities, bridges, industry, or similar
- Good knowledge of Eurocodes
- Civil or university engineering degree in a relevant field
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in water engineering, dams, or hydropower
- Good knowledge of RIDAS
- Experience in project or assignment management
