Cell Assembly Process Engineer

Skeleton Technologies is a global leader in critical power infrastructure for AI data centers and electrical grid stability, founded in 2009. Power today is more than electricity. It is national security, digital continuity, and economic resilience. Skeleton is the Backbone of Power: equipping AI data centers, electrical grids, defense systems, and critical infrastructure with the resilience to withstand surges, instability, and failure.

Our power systems protect GPU clusters from millisecond-level spikes, enable hyperscalers to run at higher rack densities without grid compromise, and make AI data centers up to more 40% energy efficient. We keep the lights on when grids fluctuate, stabilising electrical infrastructure under the combined pressure of accelerating renewable energy deployment and surging AI demand. When power fails, critical operations stop.

We exist to prevent that in microseconds. Powering the infrastructure that powers everything else. Skeleton's Quality Department is looking for a driven Cell Assembly Process Engineer (m/f/x) with the vision to match our ambition!

Skeleton Technologies is seeking an experienced Cell Assembly Process Engineer (m/f/x) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-tech environment where your insights will contribute directly to the success of the overall company!

Our ultimate goal with Skeleton is to build a net zero future, and our role is to make sure the world is aware of how we can help save energy, cut fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and enable the energy transition.

Your tasks in the net zero journey:

  • Lead troubleshooting activities during equipment commissioning and ramp-up.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for cell assembly equipment suppliers.
  • Coordinate and track supplier action lists until closure.
  • Support equipment acceptance activities (FAT, SAT, Run-at-Rate).
  • Identify and escalate technical risks impacting production readiness.
  • Define and execute process validation plans.
  • Support qualification activities for new equipment, products, and process changes.
  • Establish process windows and operating standards.
  • Identify critical process parameters and process limitations.
  • Lead structured root cause investigations for process, equipment, and quality issues.
  • Utilize data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Ensure lessons learned are documented and implemented.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, R&D and external suppliers.
  • Drive technical discussions with equipment vendors.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to management.
