This opening is for candidates with 1-3 years of Electrical Engineering experience along with a 4 year degree. Experience with troubleshooting PLC's and knowledge or hands‑on experience with programming is required.

Education:

Bachelors

• Troubleshoot and provide support for various electrical systems, including high‑voltage power distribution, low and medium voltage power systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and AC/DC drives.
• Update and validate electrical designs and drawings covering power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation for all areas of operations.
• Update system drawings and the site wide power distribution system model.
• Perform equipment failure analysis and make appropriate recommendations.
• Review proposed equipment replacements or upgrades including capital projects.
• Provide cost estimates for engineering projects.
• Work with other engineers and the maintenance department to complete projects (planning, scheduling, reliability).
• Support the operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and manage various "key" projects with shutdown/outages.
• Schedule and coordinate with contractors for capital projects/major maintenance.
