Location: Stockholm

Project Verification & Validation Manager

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll report to the Engineering Group Manager, and work alongside driven teammates. You'll be the technical interface between the solution and the project with the aim to provide fluidity in the implementation of the delivered systems. We'll look to you for:

  • Develop the project Verification Plan
  • Check the adequacy of the documented evidence from review, integration and testing with the specified verification objectives
  • Identify anomalies, evaluate these in risk (impact) terms, record and communicate these to the project change management body for evaluation and decision
  • Manage the verification process (review, integration and testing) and ensure independence of activities as required
  • Develop and maintain records on the verification activities
  • Develop the project Verification Report stating the outcome of the verification activities
  • Sync between test and development teams on overall test strategies
  • Monitor test activities and define new needs
  • Early communication and gap analysis between system/subsystems and knowledge of verification debt
  • Identification of testing gaps and mitigation
  • Sync meetings between testers/test leads on upcoming releases
  • Sync meetings with customer for new operational scenarios to test, and do joint trainings
  • Definition of entry/exit criteria for every test activity
  • System Test Specification and Test Script review processes
  • Creation and maintenance of bidirectional and horizontal traceability matrices
  • Creation of uniform KPIs for every test activity for accumulated reports

  • Degree or passion in engineering
  • Experience or understanding of software requirements, data and code
  • Railway signalling systems experience
  • Knowledge of various verification approaches/methodologies
  • Able to identify the most suitable method or combination of methods in a given context
  • Familiarity with deriving the types of verification from given specifications
  • Understanding of CENELEC standard EN 50128
  • Analytical thinking ability and good observation skills
  • Very good English skills
  • Swedish is an advantage
  • Experience in coordinating multiple verification teams
