Senior Creative Writer; of Tanks: HEAT

Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Senior Creative Writer with outstanding English skills to join our team and contribute to the development of World of Tanks: HEAT. You'll join the narrative team and collaborate with design, art and development teams to deliver scripts for gameplay voice over, cinema tics, and in-game dialogs.

• Write and edit voice over scripts for a cast of playable heroes and supportive cast of NPCs

• Collaborate with a team of artists, designers and animators to create high-quality in-game cinema tics driven by characters

• Create a unique cast of characters with complex backstories in collaboration with the narrative design team

• Maintain the quality and consistency of English writing across the project together with the copywriting and localization teams

• 3+ years of experience as a game writer

• Exceptional written and spoken English (C2)

• Proven experience with writing voice over scripts for video games

• Experience working within cross-discipline teams

• Understanding of game development production cycles

• Experience working with story boards and video production

• Experience with live-ops products

• Understanding of localization processes

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools

• Experience with voice over recordings and working with actors

• Familiarity with game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.)

• Hybrid (4 days of work from the office)
