A drop team attendant collects all funds from slot machines during the drop, verifies and reconciles unverified currency and paperwork from tables and slots, and performs these tasks in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Open and empty slot machine bill validators, collect and transport the validator boxes to the Count Room under security escort.
- Accurately collect, count, and verify funds and paperwork in the Count Room, completing any required forms.
- Communicate with team members, managers, and other departments regarding any issues.
- Follow procedures, directions, job safety rules, and compliance with the State of Maine Gaming Regulations, Oxford Casino internal controls, and security procedures.
- Treat others with consideration while working toward a common goal.
- Work early morning shifts (4:00 or 4:30 am).
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities
- Read, write, and speak in English.
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment background check.
- Work quickly, safely, and accurately in small teams while performing manual work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Distinguish monetary denominations for counting and verification.
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with office machines (calculator, computer equipment, currency counter machines) preferred.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Obtain and maintain a Maine State Dual Gaming/Sports book License.
The work has medium physical demands, including exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. It involves standing, pushing, pulling, grasping, stooping, and crouching, with repeated motions. Adequate lighting, heating, and ventilation are provided. The environment may vary in temperature and contains dust from paper and money.
