Minimum Requirements- At least 18-years-old.
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (HiSET, GED, etc.).
- Valid driver's license.

- Pre-Academy OJT – New Staff Orientation – Basic Corrections Training – 80-Hour OJT – Certified Correctional Officer
- Training phase: 8-hour shifts, Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Post-training: 12-hour shifts (6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m. depending on facility needs)
- Week 1: 3 days on / 4 days off
- Week 2: 4 days on / 3 days off
- Half the year off — with no mandating on your days off!
