Overview
RSU5 is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct and consultative behavior analytic services to students and school teams. The BCBA will maintain professional, collaborative relationships with staff, families, and outside agencies; design, develop, and support the implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans; conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments at the request of IEP teams; and establish clear expectations for referral, data collection, and progress monitoring.
This role includes planning, overseeing, and supporting evidence-based programs and best practices grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis; delivering targeted professional development; assisting with student transitions from out-of-district placements to district programs; and building strong relationships with students, educators, administrators, and community partners. The BCBA will remain current with trends and research in the field through ongoing professional learning and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Instructional Support and/or Building Administrator.

- Must hold valid CHRC Certification from the ME Department of Education.
- Must hold a valid BCBA Certification through the State of Maine.
