Position Overview

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Radiological Technologist/CT Technologist to join our highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Team at Bridgton Hospital
. This is a full‑time, 40 hours per week, benefit‑eligible position.

The Opportunity

The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Rad techs are trained to perform and become certified in both X‑Ray and CT. The role functions as one of the first line interfaces with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. On‑call, weekend and holiday schedules are required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures for radiology and CT modalities.
  • Ensure patient safety and adhere to protocols.
  • Provide first‑line customer interface and support imaging needs.
  • Participate in on‑call, weekend, and holiday schedules.
Qualifications
  • Prefer 1 or more years of radiologic/imaging and/or CT scanning experience.
  • Prefer CT Scanning Certification when performing CT or certification for secondary modality.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography.
  • Current or within 1 month of hire American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification.
  • Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • High level of knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy when performing CT.
  • Proficiency with X‑Ray and/or training in CT equipment (GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba).
