Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department: Central Sterile Supply Schedule: Full time Hours: 40 Job Responsibilities
- Clean, assemble, sterilize, and distribute instruments and instrument sets.
- Assemble and distribute case carts for surgery per pick tickets.
- Deliver carts to the staging room in surgery.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization and biological tests.
- Ensure compliance with the hospital-wide infection prevention and control program.
- Collaborate interdepartmentally with Surgery and other nursing units.
- Hours:
Night shift.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required). - Healthcare experience preferred.
- Certification:
Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) – required.
