Location: Winthrop
Winthrop Public Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist. As part of the special education team, the SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and intervention services for students with speech, language disorders. The role includes working with a wide variety of students in multiple settings, as well as with students who receive speech only services.
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic and intervention services for students with speech, language, and hearing impairments
- Aid identified students with accessing the general education curriculum
- Support inclusion based services when appropriate
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student success
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and record keeping
- Create Individualized Education Plans as appropriate
- Experience working with students with autism, developmental delays, and pragmatic language/social skills needs within a comprehensive model
